Prison inmate calling system (PICS)
In order to facilitate prisoners to make phone calls to their relatives, calling kiosks are deployed at all Jails of Punjab in according with population of jails. Prisoners are allowed to make call of 15 min duration per day on any of the pre-approved 10 phone numbers. The prisoner can make these calls at very nominal rate and get connected with their relatives on any day.
